Made up of flooring professionals, the FlooringGuide.com staff have knowledge and experience in the wholesale distribution and retail sales of floor covering products, residential and commercial floor covering specification and retail ownership. Our expertise covers a wide range of products and services while our extensive network of flooring professionals allows us to address any floor covering situation that may arise. We considered the need for a well maintained database of floor covering information when our own needs required that we turn to the Internet to get our own questions answered. What we discovered was the complete lack of a general floor covering knowledge web site that concentrated on the average person. So, we decided to create one ourselves for you. The initial success of the site in terms of our research has allowed one of our staff to concentrate their full attention to the research, creation and updating of the site. Our primary focus is the creation of easy-to-use yet complete floor covering information. We rely on established and respected sources for our information including product manufacturers and consumer information groups (Carpet and Rug Institute for example).
